HEURE EXACTE · Privacy
The reader is not a product.
Reliable time should be available without turning visitors’ habits into a commodity.
No targeted advertising
Heure Exacte is an independent time service. The pages reviewed do not load targeted advertising technology. The former statistics endpoint is no longer operational. Technical requests needed to deliver the service may still occur.
Browser preferences and tools
Your selected language, alarms, timers, countdowns, certain settings and selected locations may be saved locally in your browser. These values allow the tools to resume their function. You can clear them in browser settings. Disabling local storage may reduce some functions without preventing you from checking the time.
Optional geolocation
Location permission is requested only when you select the corresponding function and your browser allows it. A selected location may be saved in your browser for solar and daily calculations. You can decline permission and choose a place manually.
Server time and technical logs
Accurate server time requires requests to /api/time and the hosting infrastructure. Technical data such as IP addresses, dates and requested resources may be processed to deliver time, diagnose problems and protect the service. Strictly necessary security logs may remain.
Controller and rights
Heure Exacte is an independent publication by Pierre-Alain Savoy. For information or to exercise rights under Swiss law, consult the publisher’s contact details. External websites have their own privacy policies.
