Heure-Exacte was created in Geneva in 2005 with a simple idea: to give everyone easy access to a correct, readable and independent time reference.
Since its beginnings, the project has been guided by three principles: precision, reliability and ease of use.
A simple and observable time source
Heure-Exacte favours a straightforward approach: clear time information, no mandatory account and respect for privacy.
Synchronisation with the server clock and the use of recognised time references make the service’s operation more transparent.

Created by Pierre-Alain Savoy, Heure-Exacte grew from a desire to offer a simple, reliable and accessible digital service centred on one essential piece of information: exact time.
